I finished last week on a high note in my book, my older brother started his own blog (this should be interesting, recent comments, then you’ll know why).
I spent Saturday out with a friend for his birthday, we saw the movie “I AM LEGEND” at the local IMAX, I thought the movie was really good. I’ve been reading a book he recommended on his blogand was going to post all these perils of wisdom I had gained come Monday morning.
This is when the blues struck, I had a few things turn my world on its ear lately and Sunday was no different. So I slept poorly and had to literally run to the train this morning. I was winded and near dead when I and the train arrived together at the station. So, here I sit with the Monday blues on a surprisingly sunny December day in Chicago (although its 19 degrees out side plus wind chill).
With all that said I come to my main point for the post.
With my lunch I had a “Fortune Cookie” and so needing a little sweet spot in my day I unwrap the golden clam eager to read the stupid words of wisdom printed on the hidden slip of paper, breaking into my treasure I discovered this.
“You will make many changes before settling down happy.”
Has someone been bugging my house, or tapping my phone calls, reading my emails, how did they now at the Chinese restaurant that of all the fortunes in all the cookies in all the world, I needed to hear this one.
So, sorry for the long winded look into my live, but that’s how I roll.
